Q: Where are you located?

A: Our office is in Gaylord, Michigan, just off of I-75.

Q: What equipment do you use?

A: We've got a collection of PowerMac G5's running Adobe's Creative Suite 3. The Mac Mini handles all of our bookkeeping.

Q: How much do you charge for an estimate?

A: $0. We'll gladly give you an estimate, detailed proposal, and in many cases an artwork concept at no charge.

Q: Do you work with churches?

A: Yes. In fact, designing for churches is one of our specialties. As Christians, ourselves, we understand the unique needs and common purpose of the local church. For many print items, we are able to extend a significant discount. Ask about it!

Print Design

Q: What sort of things do you print?

A: Pretty much anything you can think of. Posters, flyers, brochures, tracts, bulletins, business cards, yard signs, banners, bookmarks, door hangers, magnets, booklets, stickers, presentation folders, letterhead, greeting cards, CD/DVD packaging and more!

Q: When will my printing arrive?

A: Soon. Our standard design time is five days. Printing can take from two to seven business days upon proof approval. Rush service is available in a pinch.

Q: What if I don't like what you've designed for my project?

A: Relax. We'll work with you until we find exactly what you're looking for.

Q: Where will my order be printed?

A: Divine Design has printing partners across the country utilizing the best equipment and highest standards of quality. We've done our homework and we'll match your job with the best printer available to meet your project requirements and delivery deadlines. This ensures that you receive the greatest value for your money.

Q: Can you just print a design I already have?

A: Usually. We'll need to look over your artwork and provide you with a custom quote.

Web Design

Q: How long will my website take to complete?

A: For basic site builds, our work will be completed within 2 weeks. For complex sites with heavy Flash or data functions, allow 3 to 4 weeks.

Q: Can I edit my own website?

A: Yes! Our proprietary content management system "Site Mechanic" allows you to easily modify your web pages. If you can run a word processor, you can edit your website.

Q: How can I get my website updated?

A: We suggest a subscription to our "Extended Design Services" which will provide you with custom professional design and maintenance on a monthly basis. See the Project Calculator for more details.

Q: Do you do email accounts?

A: Of Course! As part of your Website Subscription Service, you are allowed unlimited email accounts that you can create and manage through the "Site Mechanic" interface.

Q: Can you do Flash animation?

A: Yes. Our team is proficient in Flash Actionscript 2 & 3. If you have an idea, we can make it happen. If you don't have an idea, we can help you with that too.

Q: What kind of web hosting do you offer?

A: All hosting we provide includes unlimited storage space, unlimited bandwidth, and 99.9% uptime. If there's ever a problem, we won't sleep until it's fixed (We've been sleeping well).

Q: I don't know what to say on my web pages. Can you help me?

A: We'd love to! We've got a couple of English and writing majors on our team who can provide professional copywriting services at a great price. See the Project Calculator for specifics.

Q: What is a domain name?

A: Think of a domain as your street address on the internet. People type your domain name into their computer's web browser and they are immediately directed to your website.

Customers seeking a unique look for their organization should choose a custom design. Based on your completed project survey, we will custom build your website according to your specifications. Alternately, you could opt to choose one of our template designs. These templates can be tailored to fit your logo and color preferences

Your website purchase includes an unlimited number of web pages easily created with Site Mechanic. We will get you started by setting up the first five pages for you. If you wish, we'll set up additional pages for you at a per-page rate.

Will you need custom coding?Explain This

If your website requires some kind of unique functionality (database features, custom flash animations, etc) you may need these custom coding services. Each project will be quoted after your needs are established.

In order for a website to be accessible over the internet, it must be hosted on a web server. We have rolled our world-class hosting charges, full access to our easy Site Mechanic tools, and unlimited tech support into a recurring monthly fee. It's a great value.

We've built an online store and shopping cart module that is both simple and powerful. You can easily add an unlimited number of items and accept credit cards through PayPal or Google Checkout. The inclusion of a shopping cart incurs a slight fee increase.

For an additional monthly fee, Divine Design will continue to handle all the graphic design for your website. Creation of new banners, maintenance and updating or your site content, photo gallery management, or any other servicing of your web pages is included for up to an hour per month. Additional service time will be billed at our hourly rate.
